i think its too much for her to handle at one time. she has to do it slowly or not at all. and what if she doesn't want earth at all? then no one can help er if she doesn't want it.
I think that the choice was more of a wake call to Deborah. If she doesn't make a decision then she is just going to stay miserable and trapped between the two worlds. So if the doctor points out the fact that she needs to make a decision maybe Deborah will see that life would be easier if she choose to live on Earth or Yr. In Yr her Gods and the Collect would stop making her life terrible and on Earth she would stop being judged by the Gods and Collect because they would no longer exist.
well i think we can all say she would be better off with just one world but i think she feels like she can't let one go. she is scared to lose what she has become, she doesn't want to change but at the same time knows she has to
she needs to make up her mind. on earth she'll be with her family and in Yr she'll be with the Gods. so if she chooses Yr, would she like just sit in her room being in her mind the whole time? or would they transport her there somehow?
they would proabaly move her to a different hospital and have her really just be locked up and not helped. she might just die from not eating or anything after a while.
haha all crippled and die. Maybe they could find a way to feed her, like in Chilie they found the way to rescue the 33 miners after 69 days, they figured out how to get food and survive!
but thats different because the miners were physical trapped and had no way to get food. if deborah picks Yr she picks to mentally not take the food. there is no way to save her unless they pumb it into her stomach. the miners wanted to surivie and live life longer. deborah doesn't want earth life if she picks Yr. she doesn't want life or at least not the life we all have.
